Objectives of the Churches League
The use of football as a means of true Christian Fellowship and the proper use of the said fellowship as a means of glorifying God and representing a good Christian witness.
Avendale AFC was formed in 2001 as an offshoot from the existing Young Adult Group in Avendale and joined the Churches League in season 2001/02 in the 3rd Division.
The team train on a Tuesday evening during the Winter months (October - March) at Ballerup Astroturf pitch in East Kilbride from 9-10pm and any new players (aged 16 and over) will be made most welcome
Avendale AFC play their league and cup matches on a Saturday morning with a 10am kickoff, their home pitch being Kirklandpark.
